My sculptures are hand-made of crank clay, fired to stoneware temperatures, with a dry ilmenite glaze that gives a stone-like finish. Many pieces are a mixture of coil and slab work, suitable for displaying in the home, outside on the patio, or in the garden all year round.

These organic ceramic sculptures celebrate the asymmetry of life, where the only predictable factor is change. Some items are a fusion of vegetal and animal elements; others are like unique containers of cosmic energy.

Each vessel is unique: the form embodies the unexpected, and delights in unpredictable tangential surfaces. On some sculptures, looking from one aspect, one can only guess at the form from each alternative visual angle.

The water fountains mostly embody architectural features, and have a shiny glazed interior with dry exterior walls.
